We do one thing and we do it well: SERVICE! Maintenance, repair, and modernization all fall under our umbrella of service. It's a time honored tradition at Davis & Newcomer.

Davis & Newcomer was founded in 1918 by Harold Davis and Paul Newcomer in Fostoria, Ohio. The firm had its start when Mr. Davis electrified a hand operated elevator for N.E. George who owned a wholesale fruit business in Fostoria.

In 1930, Davis & Newcomer moved to its present concrete structure on Columbus Avenue in Fostoria. Then in 1968, Rikhard Laiho purchased the firm when its owners retired from active business. In 1986, we eliminated the new elevator installation business, which enabled us to provide a better, more focused level of service for our existing customers. We also have been able to grow our presence in many towns while entering new geographic areas on a selective basis.
